Why is there always such calm before the storm? Why does everything that was so perfect fall heart-gut-wrenchingly apart with such alacrity?

Why are people fickle?
Why are they not happy when things go well for you?
Why do they constantly say one thing and mean another?

Why is love hard, and complicated, and unpredictable, and painful?
Why is it so hard to trust unequivocally?
Why is it so hard to just let go?

Why will I not let myself not be strong, even if it kills me?
Why do I have to be on my knees for you to know something is wrong?

Glad to have you back!!! You know, lately I have questioned numerous things as well so I completely understand this post like you wouldn't believe.."Why" has become my favorite word and every thought in my head begins with why.

It's been long since I've been here.
I think the reason why has to do with the fact that there is something inherently wrong with our human wiring. Why is it so much easier to do wrong than right? A few examples: It is eeeaaasssier to- eat junk food over healthy stuff, cuss instead of hold your anger, drive too fast instead of too slow, hate instead of love, destroy something compared to building, dropping something instead of lifting eeeettttttccccc!
Makes me believe that (hu)man is actually fallen, and our solutions lie with whoever put us together...
